Join us for Equip Day to grow in many practical aspects of the Christian life! This Equip Day will be done virtually on Zoom – hopefully for the first and only time. Due to the nature of a virtual class, we are limiting each session to 15 reigstrants. Check out the details for each session below and register. If you have any questions or need help contact Aaron LeDuc
Bible Study Tools 1 & 2
God’s Word is a means of grace to help us draw near to Christ in daily intimacy. Come learn and practice some of the basic yet powerful tools that help us understand what the Bible teaches in any given text of Scripture, for the sake of deepening our fellowship with Him.
God has intentionally created a multigenerational family blueprint and grandparents play an important role in this design, especially being “a key disciple-making influence” in the lives of their grandchildren. Learn how Grandparents are a crucial part in God’s plan to cultivate and encourage the faith of their grandchildren and they need to embrace the Biblical role and responsibilities that God has given them.
Cultivating Dependence through Prayer
A life of depending on the Lord is fostered by a life of prayer. In this class we will look at what the Bible says about depending on the Lord, about seeking Him through prayer and look at examples of prayer in the Bible. We will also take time to learn a method to help fuel your daily prayer life.
Foundations of Parenting: Focus on the Younger Years
Willie and Melody Dornfeld
Parenting isn’t easy, it requires a deep dependence on God, thoughtful shepherding, and loving discipline. Dig into the scriptures and see how God’s Word can help equip you for parenting success over the long haul.
Is My Job My Calling?
Scripture tells us that we are “called” by God to good work. Does this include our professional vocation, even if we are not in formal ministry? In this session, we will dive deep into a biblical theology of calling to see how it can encourage and strengthen our everyday work and advance the kingdom of God.
Kevin and Susan Wolfe
Sharpen your vision for parenting your teenagers through these critical years as you learn practical tools in shepherding your teen’s heart.
Stewardship Through Personal Finance: Budgeting, Planning, and Debt Management
Come explore everyday strategies for being intentional with money as stewards of what God has entrusted to us. We’ll discuss practical steps for creating manageable monthly budgets and then move beyond the basics to talk about developing plans for the future, larger expenses and giving generously. Additionally, we will explore strategies for managing debt and discuss ideas on how to get out of debt.
The Joy of Generous Living
Join us and be encouraged in your faith journey within finances as we dive into the blessings and fun of generous living. We will hear from some incredible individuals and families who have chosen to use their money and energy in exciting and unconventional ways to impact others and invest in God’s Kingdom. We hope this class will strengthen your trust in God and empower you to experience the true gift of generosity.
What to Watch
We live in a world that is full of options, especially in regards to the amount of visual media that’s available to us. As Christians, we should not be simply mindlessly consuming this content. Rather, we should be able to wisely understand, critique, and make a decision whether or not to thoughtfully engage. Spend some time developing practices and skills to judge the media we consume so you can decide whether to start that next episode on Netflix.
Women, Leadership and Complementarianism
Are you a woman who longs to see her life count for glory of God? Let’s explore the theology and practice of God’s perfect design for men and women laboring together for His Kingdom. This class is for women only.
