We’re so glad you’re here.

Worship with us!

There is something special when God’s people come together to worship Him and build each other up. Our worship services are a celebration of all that God is doing in and through our lives throughout the week. We encourage you to come worship with us “as you are”. Mountain View Community Church does not focus on the outward appearance but what is on the inside. We just ask you to come with a heart to meet God. We want everyone who walks through our doors to leave feeling known and loved.

We know there is a lot to consider when visiting a church for the first time. Here are some frequently asked questions about visiting Mountain View for the first time!

Where do I park?

Mountain View shares parking lots with our neighboring businesses. In general, we can use the parking lots of our business neighbors in the evenings and on the weekends (unless otherwise marked). Please see the parking map below. We have spaces in the East Lot reserved on Sundays for visitors. We have Accessible Parking Spaces available in the West Lot. There are bike racks on the west side of our building. If those are full, there are additional bike racks on the north side of Mountain Sage Community School that can be used on Sundays.

What can I expect?

Expect to be welcomed at the door by friendly faces! Anyone throughout the building with a name tag on can answer questions you may have. Find any seat in the sanctuary and get ready to worship! We typically have worship through music at the beginning, followed by preaching, and end the service with more music.

We are committed to teaching through the scriptures to give the whole counsel of God (expository teaching). We teach for life change so there is a strong emphasis on practical application so that we are different people come Monday morning. We don’t teach to inform but to transform so we grow to be more like Jesus.

What is your music style?

We love to worship the Lord through music when we are together for our weekly church services. Our worship is God-centered and meant to engage our hearts in response to all that God is and all that He has done for us. Our worship style is more contemporary but is loved by all ages in our church family. You can find our Spotify Worship Playlist here.

Do you have Children’s Ministry?

We have a passion for raising the next generation with the truth of the Gospel. We provide Children’s Ministry during Sunday Services for birth – 5th grade. Use the button below to find out more.

Who is your lead pastor?

We believe God’s design is that each local church be led by a plurality of biblically qualified men who shepherd and care for the church as undershepherds to Jesus, so we don’t have one lead pastor.

How do I get connected on Sunday morning?

If you are new to MVC, we would love to have you join us for MVC Connect. We hold MVC Connect every two weeks after each service – we chat for about 20 minutes and your children are welcome to join us. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about who we are, what we believe and how you can get involved and serve as a part of the church family.

Do you have a sign language interpreter?

Are you deaf or hard of hearing or do you know someone who is? We typically have an ASL interpreter at our 8:30am church service. We would love to have you join us. If you would like to utilize our sign language interpreter, please contact us below.

What do I wear?

Come as you are! Whether it’s your Sunday best or jeans and a t-shirt, wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Most people tend to dress on the more casual side.
