Why are we going to Tacoma, WA?
We have the unique privilege to partner alongside a church from our Network by helping them run an outreach youth sports camp to reach the local youth for Jesus. Not only will be have the opportunity to see what God is doing in another part of the country but by God’s grace He will shape us, as a team, to reflect more of His heart for Himself and people.
What will we do?
We’ll be coming alongside the church by helping staff a week long outreach youth sports camp. We’ll have the opportunity to teach the next generation new skills around certain sports while using sports as a means to meaningful conversations that hopefully leads to life transformation.
How can you help?
The primary way anyone can help is through prayer. Please pray that the Lord will prepare the hearts of the teenagers to serve these kids with joy and that God would use the camp to bring more families into God’s family up in Tacoma. Also pray that our team may be united in love from now until the trip and for safe travels.
