Marc Emery

Marc was born in New York and grew up in the Midwest. During his middle school years in Lansing, Michigan, he met his wife, Jill. High school sweethearts ever since, they have built a life together and are the proud parents of three daughters, three sons-in-law, and ten grandchildren—eight boys and two girls.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education from Bryan College. He began his career teaching and coaching high school before transitioning into sales and operations in the consumer goods industry. Throughout his career, Marc remained active in lay ministry through teaching, leading small groups, mission trips to Africa and Ukraine with ABWE, and serving on the board of Horizon Education Network.

Following his retirement in 2021, Marc and Jill moved to Colorado to be near two of their daughters and their families and began attending Mountain View. In 2022, Marc joined the church staff as Executive Director, supporting administration, facilities, and finances while overseeing the Deacon and Legacy ministries. Marc and Jill also love showing hospitality to others—especially their grandkids.
