Operation Backpack is a program benefiting the Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County (fosteradoptive.org) by providing backpacks filled with school supplies. When children enter the foster system, they often have nothing to call their own. MVC has participated in Operation Backpack the last 2 years and it has been such a sweet partnership and connection. Our goal this year is to provide 85 filled backpacks.

Would you like to help? There are multiple ways to be a part of this service project.

    School Supply Shopping

Provide any combination of school supplies from the list (see below).
Drop off your supplies at services on July 17th or July 24th. There will be drop boxes at the church.

School Supplies: dry erase markers, USB drives, headphones/earbuds, glue sticks, Ziploc bags (snack and sandwich size), Post It notes, hand held pencil sharpeners, Sharpies – fine point and extra fine point, sketch books, backpacks

*While all items on the list are welcome, they could use more flash drives, sketch books and earbuds.*
