  • Resources to help you and your family worship this Christmas season!

With the Christmas season upon us, we are entering into what can be one of the most worshipful seasons of the year.  However, what often happens with the busyness of activity, we miss the opportunity to focus on the Christ of Christmas.  Therefore, we need to fight… fight to be purposeful and intentional with the season.  We have all been here before, wanting the season to look different but then often defaulting into what is served to us by our culture and our choices of what to do with our time.

My encouragement is to set out with a plan to make Christmas about Him.  I would make it a simple plan that would include a daily or weekly time to prepare your hearts for Christmas.  I have provided two links below that I believe will serve you during this Advent season.  One is a daily reading through this Advent Season by John Piper and Desiring God ministries.  This daily reading will keep you focused on the Christ of Christmas.  Another resource is set up for weekly devotionals/activities that you can do with your family during the weeks leading up to Christmas from The Village Church in Texas.  Both are great resources.

Let’s worship Him and shine Him this Christmas!
