  • Serve 6.8 Update

SERVE 6.8 is a Christian nonprofit organization that specializes in mobilizing, resourcing, and connecting the local church to care for people in Northern Colorado. They partner with 30 local churches to offer ministries to meet physical needs while pointing people back Christ and a church community. Their programs offer assistance in establishing and maintaining sustainability in areas such as food, clothing, employment, and housing.

SERVE 6.8 runs a number of programs to meet the various practical needs in our community. Different and unique needs came about as the result of COVID and SERVE 6.8 established programs to address those new and urgent needs. Last summer we had the privilege of partnering with SERVE 6.8 to run one of their programs – Family Dinner Nights. These Family Dinner Nights were established during COVID as a way to address food insecurity in our community and at the same time support local restaurants who were really feeling the effects of the pandemic. Our church body thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to serve our community during such a difficult time and we enjoyed being together during a time that lacked togetherness.
