Thanksgiving Meals for Families
Thank you to those of you who donated food for the Thanksgiving Meals for Families!
Mountain View donated about 200 food items to families in our community who are in need of a Thanksgiving meal.
Praise God!
This year the Matthews House is providing Thanksgiving meals to 25 families who are in need in our community. The turkeys have already been donated, but they are collecting the remaining items for these meals, which include: instant potatoes, boxed stuffing, cornbread/muffin mix, canned vegetables, shelf stable vegetables (winter squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, onions and potatoes), cake mix, canned pie filling, pie crust mixes, cranberry sauce and gravy packets. Please consider contributing some of these items. There will be a collection box at MVC on Sunday: November 15th or you can drop these items by the Genesis Project (409 South Link Lane) anytime before November 20th.
