The amazing thing about being a part of a church network means we not only share values and vision—but also resources, encouragement, and collaboration across churches. One beautiful example of that collaboration is The New Song Project—a worship initiative launched by Nick Cistola, our Worship Pastor here at MVCC. It’s designed to help churches across the Crossway Network write, record, and release original worship songs for their local congregations.

The project exists in response to the biblical call to “sing a new song” (Psalm 96:1, Revelation 5:9). Through this project, our church—and others across the Crossway Network—can share songs rooted in truth and written for our specific time and place. This idea expands on what’s already been created and produced through Saints&Sinners and New Exodus Collective. You can listen to the full playlist on Spotify HERE.

“The hope is to broaden our horizons and draw on a wider circle of gifts and talent from across the Network,” Nick sharedWe want to empower the creative and technical gifts of worship leaders and musicians in our network to bless individual churches.”
