Ep. 4 – Hope Redeemed

In this week’s episode, Hannah is joined by Dave Young and Pastor Aaron LeDuc as they talk about Aaron’s recent sermon “Hope Redeemed” for the first week of Advent (found here).

-Tamar’s story feels really hard. She felt stuck and desperate and then took matters into her own hands. Is there a balance between us fighting to get out of hard situations and waiting on the Lord’s plan?
-Is there a time that you experienced a season or situation full of suffering that you never understood the reason for? How do you view that situation now and how has it impacted the way you wait in seasons like Advent?
-We focus a lot on waiting on the coming hope of Jesus throughout Advent. What does that really mean for us as believers? How do we wait well, put our hope in Christ and not this world, and rest in that in the midst of the chaos of the Christmas season? What does that look like for the two of you?
