Finding Contentment

• There’s a whole chapter on marriage and singleness in 1 Corinthians which makes it feel like this isn’t a new struggle for believers. How do you guys think we actually have undivided devotion to the Lord in both singleness and marriage? How do we define undivided devotion?
• Asking daring questions was such a good reminder for me and something I don’t do very often – maybe because I like being comfortable and don’t really want to Lord to push me out of my comfort zone. Is there a time when you’ve asked daring questions or do you do that regularly? What qualifies as a daring question for you guys?
• In my mind, the world’s goal is contentment, but nothing quite feels good enough so everyone is constantly striving for more. Do you guys feel that? How do we live in that and not let that take hold of us?
• During Christmas, do you both have rhythms that help you to rest in what you have and not get sucked into consumerism? How do you find contentment in the gift of Jesus while also participating in traditions?
